Dear friends and the world in general. I am Maggie Duncan Simbeye, the Founder of the Dare Women's Foundation. I am a Mother! "Mama" in Swahili language! Am proud to be mama!! I am going to write my message to you in English for those who speak it and in Swahili for those who speak it. These are two languages that I know so far.
I am writing this message to you to empower this very special day. Women's day!! As also a mother, mother of not only my two children Morgan and Zion, no no no! But Mother for all,
I feel proud to say that, all children/people that lost and of course will lose their mama should take this nice word saying; every woman around you (nowhere is very far, everywhere is close!) should be and we believe is a mama for all. Every single woman! We have special power in us!
Kila mwanamke. Tuna nguvu za ziada ndani yetu!
Women, no matter how old are you, what language you speak, what nation are you from, how much and what kind of education you have/and whether formally or informally, how many materials you have, how "rich or poor" you are, how much discriminated you have been and many many more, how much children you have from zero to any, just remember that you are born for a very good reason my dear! You are born for the world!
The world is waiting for you my dear, it is not very easy but once you remember this word then you get extra power that pushes you forward no matter what!
Dunia inakusubiri mpendwa wangu, siyo rahisi sana lakini utakapokumbuka maneno haya utapata nguvu zaidi ambayo itakufanya usonge mbele hata ije nini!
And I still believe that, if all women will support the idea of nature and remember that we are all from nature, then they'll remember how much and from what reason ecosystem works the best.

Think about Matriachal system when you talk about elephants! This is the Mother of the mothers! Is where I have been learning leadership course from! She leads practically, not only her children. She creates the best world for tomorrow. There are many more examples.
Hebu mfikirie Tembo mwanamke anavyoongoza kundi la Tembo ! Huyu ni mama wa wamama! Na hapa ndipo ninajifunzia uongozi! Anaongoza kwa matendo! Na siyo watoto wake tu! Hua anaandaa dunia nzuri ya kesho. Kuna mifano mingine mingi tu.
I have been coming across many ups and downs since I founded Dare Women's Foundation and even before! I'm never perfect! I learn every moment! And I am happy. I have seen girls stop going to school because they miss sanitary napkin but also I have seen girls who not even sure where they bring their birthday gifts to. Because they have too much! And they pile up every year!
I have seen women who showers for many minutes, open their showers on and on frequently and water flows down and disappears! I have also seen women who deliver their new little one and they do not have water to clean themselves and their babies. No drinking water. No cooking water. At all! Unless you walk many hours to and fro carrying 20 litres of water from the mudy wells. I see this almost every day in my work with Dare.
Kabisa! Labda utembee masaa mengi kwenda na kurudi umebeba lita 20 za maji yenye matope kutoka kwenye mabwawa. Ninayaona haya karibu kila siku ninapofanya kazi na Dare.
I have seen women deliver in hospitals where there is no power, who use kerosene light during delivery and their children born effected and I have seen women who deliver in hospitals that have power and all important and needed tools and but still complaining and ask for more.
And a lot more we may be all know. I have seen positive impacts when we empower ourselves from the grassroots, small groups of women and men works together we can make good changes. Let's all of us play our part. Think about each other. We are all sharing one atmosphere. Do not take and go, take and give back some. Make the world smile. This is possible for all of us.
Na mengine zaidi labda wote tutakua tunayafahamu. Nimeona mafanikio chanya pale tunapoamua kujinyanyua/kujiendeleza wenyewe kutokea chini tu. Ifanye dunia itabasamu. Hili linawezekana kwa sisi sote.
Women can do it! What we need is opportunities. We can also empower at some points! Take good example from many families, women pushes families forward especial here in 🇹🇿 Tanzania in Africa and I believe everywhere else in the world! We are leaders! From the womb.
Thank you for reading.
Wanawake wanaweza! Tunachohitaji tu ni fursa. Sisi pia tunaweza kusaidia! Angalia mifano mingi kutoka katika familia nyingi hapa 🇹🇿 Tanzania Africa na pengine duniani kote! Sisi ni viongozi. Kutokea kwenye matumbo ya uzazi.
Asante kwa kusoma.
